The bustling city of Cork is a 45-minute drive away, and the 6th-century island monastery of Gougane Barra is 35 minutes drive away. Nearby Kilnamartyra village is home to Ireland's only toy soldier factory, while Killarney National Park and the famous Ring of Kerry are both 42 km away.
