Freshly cooked every morning, a wide range of breakfasts are available at Findus House, including full Irish breakfasts, organic porridge with Bailey’s cream liqueur, pancakes with fresh fruit and syrup, or Atlantic smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. There are 2 local pubs in the village, and the nearby town of Macroom can be reached in 15 minutes by car. The bustling city of Cork is a 45-minute drive away, and the 6th-century island monastery of Gougane Barra is 35 minutes drive away. Nearby Kilnamartyra village is home to Ireland's only toy soldier factory, while Killarney National Park and the famous Ring of Kerry are both 42 km away.
