Rottnest Island’s 9-hole public golf course is only a 10-minute walk away. There is free shuttle bus service from the Main Jetty, arrival and departure point for ferry services to and from Fremantle and Perth. It is a 10-minute bicycle ride to restaurants and cafes.

Vehicles are not permitted on Rottnest Island. Bicycles are the main form of transport and are available to hire on the Island. Short-term and long-term car parking options are available at the ferry terminals.
Guests must check in at the Visitor Centre which is located at the end of the Main Jetty in Thomson Bay. This is the check-in point for the Rottnest Island Authority accommodation. A welcome pack will be sent to visitors 2 weeks prior to their stay, providing all the details needed for check-in.
Folder beds and cots are available for hire by contacting Central Reservations at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.
